Twenty 25 lb cylinders of R-410A on a half pallet. R-410A is the charge in the overwhelming majority of residential and light commercial split systems installed over the past twenty years, so this is the quantity that covers an install crew through a busy stretch without tying up the cash a full pallet needs.
R-410A runs at substantially higher pressures than the R-22 equipment it replaced. Gauges, hoses and recovery cylinders all have to be rated for it, and the charge goes in as a liquid because it is a blend.
A half pallet still moves as freight and still needs an appointment and a way to unload it.

Showed up damaged
This is likely less of FreonWell's fault and more on the carrier, but it probably could have been packaged better to prevent it also. The tank showed up quickly and full, but the handles were extremely bent. The box was clearly dropped at some point. Surprisingly it doesn't seem like the valve took any damage so it's still usable
