R-404A took over from R-502 and remains the charge in a very large installed base, even as the phase-down pushes new work towards lower-GWP replacements such as R-448A and R-449A. Stocked virgin and reclaimed, in single cylinders and by the pallet. It is a blend, so charge it as a liquid.
