About R-134a
R-134a carried motor-vehicle air conditioning for two decades and still charges an enormous fleet of older vehicles, alongside chillers, coolers and medium-temperature equipment. Being one compound rather than a blend, it has no glide and no composition to protect. Check the service fitting before ordering: the automotive cylinders carry 1/2 ACME and the HVAC ones 1/4 ACME, and they do not interchange without an adapter.
